In Full Effect

Friday night was pizza night in full effect this weekend! First, a deliciously random shot of the work treats I made this week: Inspired by Beth's post this week about using Oreo cookies in lieu of chocolate chips, I decided to go for the Lazy Heather version and do it with cookie bars!  Basically I used the high altitude version of this recipe, but instead of the full amount of chips I added both chips and Oreos.  And, as always, the lazy version means decreasing the oven temp and smashing the ... continue reading...

Last Friday of July

Good morning and happy Friday! How are y'all this fine last Friday of July? Hold the phone... Last Friday of July?!?!?! Wasn't it just January?! Engaging

Last night our friend Josh proposed to his girlfriend Ashley (who, by the way, is also a good friend)!  Nate and I have been in on it for the past couple of weeks since Josh (who is also a photographer) asked us to take pictures.  So, being the inherently sneaky people we are (I wore a camouflage hat - clearly I'm a professional) we said yes!  Nate climbed up on the roof, and I hid in the windows of the Museum of Contemporary Art acress the street. Baconized Chocolate

Good morning! Sometimes…

Not Enough Days in the Weekend

I said it Friday, and I'll say it again:  There are NOT enough days in the weekend! Back when I had to work one weekend day and take a weekday off instead I thought it was just this horrid time...but having 2 consecutive weekend days is just as hard! Dragon Boats

Say what? This is the face of a (very attractive) guy that didn't know what a Dragon Boat race was until today.  And that little lady in his sunglasses?  Clueless :) Thank goodness we had the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival to show us what it's all about!
