I Got Nothin'

Hey guys 🙂  Sorry, I got nothin’ for you as far as cool titles…it’s just one of those days where I’m totally exhausted and I’m having daydreams about sleeping.

Lunch was pretty tame today.  I started off with a Starbucks Chipotle Chicken sandwich:

It was good, but not very substantial in my opinion.  I also had some Greek yogurt with 1 Tbsp of Bonne Maman cherry preserves and about 1/4 cup of coconut chia granola:

I also decided that I wanted a bean burrito from Taco Bell (unpictured) and am now regretting it…I’m stuffed in NOT the fun way!  Dinner is going to be pretty light tonight, but I just know I should have let my food sit for a little bit before springing for that burrito.  To make matters worse, it’s SO WINDY outside that I didn’t walk, so what would have made me feel better and burned off some energy didn’t happen.  Oh well, sometimes there are days like today and we just have to take it in stride, right?

Right!

Tonight I’m going to try and lift some weights, eat a salad, work on some writing and photography projects, and go to bed early so that I will get up in the morning and workout.  I’m also nervously awaiting the results of my bloodwork from last Thursday…on one hand I really hope that there’s nothing wrong and we can go on living life like we normally do, but at the same time I’m also kind of hoping for a good kick in the pants to really buckle down and have to eat healthier.  I know that sounds weird, but it’s how I feel!

RANDOM QUESTION:  What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?  Or favorite frozen treat? I would have to say that Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla is THE BEST vanilla ever, and I’m also a huge fan of Haagen Dazs 5-Ingredient Coffee ice cream.  I might or might not be drooling right now… 😉

Starbucks has chicken sandwiches?? Dude. Out of America for 20 months and I am OFFICIALLY an alien. Not too far from the truth…

Fave ice cream is chocolate chip cookie dough, loaded with cookie dough. Or cake batter, with cookie dough mixed in. Or Starbucks Mud Pie (coffee ice cream… but the GOOD kind made with coffee liquor, not cheaply flavored) with hot fudge ripple and oreos… but I don´t know if they still make it : (

Don’t worry about your blood work… even if things come not as you expected (i.e. high cholestrol) at least you took a step in knowing where you stand if there is a need for correction. It is a positive thing no more how you look at it (in my opinion 🙂 )

As far as Ice Cream.. Would you believe me if I told you I don’t much care for cold frozen treats? I like things warm or HOT. Even in the 95° 90% humidity of houston I still order HOT water 😉
I do eat the ice cream from time to time and if I do I like Vanilla bean 🙂

And my bf’s favorite ice cream is blue bell cookie dough, yum!!

Even though I can’t eat dairy, I still love ice cream. I make it at home with coconut milk and I a pretty much a purist. Vanilla, chocolate or strawberry! And honestly, I am even a big fan of banana “soft serve”.

I love the picture of the yogurt!! Coconut Bliss makes the BEST non-dairy ice cream. Chocolate Peanut Butter. OMG.

Titling posts is the hardest part sometimes.

I rather lost my taste for ice cream after working at Cold Stone for a long time in high school (and now I’m lactose intolerant…siiighhh), but I loved mint chocolate chip as a kid and lovedlovedloved vanilla in high school. I thought vanilla was the perfect amalgam of sweet and delicious.

I so feel you on the burrito thing. I made homemade tacos tonight and I ate a soft taco on a wheat tortilla. I don’t know why but after I ate it I felt unusually stuffed and not in a good way. My husband ate about 5 tacos and I could barely take on a second small one. Sometimes Mexican food just doesn’t sit right. Don’t worry about your blood test. I had one about a year ago and I was like you, I didn’t want there to be anything wrong, but then again, finding out there was a problem would have helped me know that my emotional feelings we’re caused by a physical condition. However they turned out negative and I was eventually able to move on. Instead of just one flavor of ice cream, my favorite combo of flavors is birthday cake remix from Cold Stone. I just love the cake batter ice cream, fudge, brownie bites, and sprinkles.

It’s funny, I have never been really big on ice cream but a little while ago I got obsessed with cookie dough flavor. I got over it, and then I saw the new B&J’s Milk n Cookies. OMG… there are no words. I literally ate 2 pints in 2 days. And my bf brought me home Blue Bunny Cookies n Cream, and that’s fabulous as well. I don’t know where this came from, if I didn’t know better I would think I was pregnant. (I’m not.)

I have never had any food items from Starbucks. Seems too expensive for “pre packaged” food to me.

I love simple vanilla ice cream. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Especially soft serve – like a McDonalds ice cream cone.

Don’t get too down on yourself about the Taco Bell! It’s not like you eat it every day, you know? And, not gonna lie – Taco Bell every once in a while is oh so tasty in my opinion 😉

My favorite ice cream flavors are vanilla (but GOOD vanilla, not the fake kind) and cake batter. Both with rainbow sprinkles and whipped cream, of course!
