Nachos + Beer Kinda Night

Evenin’ y’all!  How’s it going?  🙂

So, first of all, I want to brag about how amazing and sweet my husband is:  we did the $10 challenge again today, but this time it was his turn!  He made bruschetta-type things with baguette, Roma tomatoes, spinach, some mozzarella from yesterday, and lemon pepper chicken from the deli!

He made sure to make it very pretty for me since he knew I’d be photographing it for blogging purposes later 🙂  I’m a lucky, lucky girl!

AND he did it all for $7.22!!!

This afternoon I took my lunch break at the end of the day so I could go see Leeann for some knee-fixing.  It was pretty funny…she was “blocking” me and told me to roll over…so I did…and almost rolled off the bench!  OOPS!!!  Talk about embarrassing, Leeann had to catch me so I didn’t tumble to the ground.  I laughed for about 5 minutes after that, feeling pretty silly the whole time!

I also found out something pretty cool…I have TMJ, which flares up particularly when I’m stressed (which I have been lately).  TURNS OUT that chiropractic can help with that!  I sure hope that it can, cause TMJ can be incredibly painful!

We didn’t have any food at home (that’s a lie…we didn’t have any food we wanted to eat), so we hit up Rock Bottom for some delightful nachos:

Chips (obvi), beans, cheese, beef, chicken, jalapenos, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, guac.  Heart attack on a plate never tasted so good!

We split these and decided not to get more food so we could have some beer at home.  I adore Pipeline Porter; other than the Nutcracker Porter I had 2 years ago, this is my favorite beer 🙂

I’ll be enjoying it in my Pussers koozie from our trip to Tortola last May!  Such a gorgeous place, maybe we’ll live there one day?

SOOOOOOO, since we are going on a top secret trip this weekend (sorry, no details yet), we are going to be doing laundry for the remainder of the night until 30 Rock comes on and we veg on the couch!  Sounds like a pretty darn good Thursday, eh?

Now, I know that this is completely cliche since it seems like everyone in the blogging community is doing it, but I would hope that the “Ask Me Anything” trend is a constant with my blog and site.  I’m open to any question(s) you might have, so feel free to ask away!

Hope y’all have a wonderful evening 🙂

Nachos are pretty much my favorite food. Sad that I can’t eat them anymore, but I will live vicariously through you!

love this. This is our kind of quick fix meal as well. Wish you lived closer so we could go have a cup of coffee together and chat about food 🙂

I went to Rock Bottom at the Westmin. Promenad and had some beer. Awesome restaurant, but sadly I didn’t try the food because I was full from Lunch.

The beer there is pretty good if your a beer kind of woman. I don’t recommend drinking the 3 that i had and then watching Avater in 3D on the Imax over at the theater next door. LOL

I need to give the $10 challenge a go. We spend way too much on food!

Cool idea! I should try a 10 dollar challenge. Food is one thing I cannot control my money with. What’s this trip all about? So mysterious.
