Don’t forget to check out my giveaway for some amazing Wholesome Foods Bakery bars!!!

My sister and her boyfriends are in Colorado! Now I’m just waiting for the call that they’re in Denver so I can leave work 🙂 I’m just so excited to see them and show them the house, not to mention it couldn’t be a more gorgeous day (I think it’s 65 and sunny) for them to come in. The funny thing is it’s supposed to be a blizzard on Friday! Hey, if you don’t like the weather in Colorado, wait 5 minutes!

Lunch was leftovers from last night:

With 1/2 of a sandwich thin and provolone melted on top:

And for my snack I tried some of the Yoplait Greek yogurt:

And made a parfait with the yogurt and my Crunch! from Wholesome Foods Bakery. This was really good with tons of nuts and seeds!

The only thing I would do differently is either eat it faster, or just keep putting it on top as I eat. I kept having to step away from my desk and the puffed rice stuff got a little soggy. But the flavor was SPOT ON!

I love parfaits…a little bit in each bite!

Now, I know I had Italian for lunch, but I’m still pretty stoked about potentially eating it tonight as well. I really don’t know if there’s any such thing as too much Italian food! I think it’s funny that by heritage I am German and Cherokee, but by marriage I’m Italian, and WAY more so than my husband is (at heart anyway) 🙂 In fact, I have a little something fun planned with Italian cuisine coming soon (shhhhhhhhhhh, Christie, don’t say anything!)

What’s your favorite kind of food? Anything really crazy interesting you’ve had before? I’m always up for new things as long as it doesn’t contain weird body parts (i.e. eyeballs or feet – blech) or tofu (HATE the texture – in fact, hate doesn’t even begin to describe!)

I would say most of my favorite foods are freaky local dishes. Jambalaya, gumbo, boiled crawfish and crabs – I can’t get enough of any of those!

How was that yoplait? Was it cheaper than Fage or Oikos?

My favorite kind of food is sushi or pierogis (yes, I am a Polish princess!)

I am in LOVE with Persian food… but make tons of Italian since Raymond is slave to Italian food. Don’t get me wrong I like Italian as well.

I am Italian by marriage too! Although my tastes tend to incline towards the Latino flavors. Must be all the culture I got from teaching Spanish 😉

What’s your verdict on the Yoplait Greek yogurt? Do they sell it @ Safeway?
