Watermelon Granita on @tastearkansas from @heathersdishI’m happy to report that as of Tuesday afternoon I am in the middle of the 5th season of Downton Abbey. Yes, that’s right – I’ve watched an insane number of hours of a British period drama and I STILL just can’t quit it. I can’t! I won’t!

But I’m ready(ish) to return to the real world. Maybe just a tad – I haven’t decided yet!

OH, so I made this lovely watermelon granita for the Taste Arkansas blog and I really can’t get enough of it either. Basically it’s summertime in a glass, a frozen dessert that requires no fancy skill or equipment. Can’t beat that, am I right?

Now, when I sit and watch TV like the blob that I’ve turned into I can enjoy a cold, refreshing, fruit-filled dessert as well. I believe that’s called a win-win!
