Saturday was an interesting day. I made the best biscuits ever, nearly froze my tail off in the weird, cold Colorado weather (think snow + sunshine at the same time), ate a full Thanksgiving dinner with 60 of my closest friends, and stayed up til 1AM baking bacon-topped cupcakes. And since we’ve already visited most of these, let’s talk about the WHY behind why I almost froze my tail off.
This guy knows what I’m talking about…
Nate and a bunch of other guys from our church played in a flag football tournament this weekend where they took 2nd and proceeded to run themselves into the ground, thus wearing themselves out, thus becoming incredibly sore, thus needing to consume mass quantities of food.
And even though I just sat in the stands and cheered, by golly I am a great sympathetic eater. Thank goodness he has me 😉

Sometimes we need to not ask why…and just do it! You were a pretty good sport and I’m sure a fantastic spectator…he should be lucky to have you. 🙂

Bacon topped cupcake? Is that one cupcake that I shouldn’t feel guilty eating for breakfast? LOL!

I’m in love with the little guy! Adorable! And I don’t want to know how many friends you have if you count 60 to be your closest ones! But all in all, sounds like an amazing weekend!

I love your comment, “And even though I just sat in the stands and cheered, by golly I am a great sympathetic eater. Thank goodness he has me ;)” That made me laugh. Have a great night.

Sunshine + snow is a great combo!! So much better than snow + grey skies.
