First off, someone please tell me it’s not just me that WordPress is eating their posts…? Pretty please?
Second, I had 2 incredible recipes to share that will now just have to wait until tonight! HOWEVER, I do have one last Kauai post up my long fleece sleeve, and that is engagement photos from a photo shoot Nate did for Skip and Liz while we were there. I have to say, engagement photos are some of my favorites ever. You have the newness of a future life together, the excitement of wedding planning, and the pure joy that comes from being with the person you love.

And I’m so thankful to be married to such an awesome man and amazing photographer!
There couldn’t be a more fun couple to photograph, and I can’t wait to go to their wedding in Dallas this coming summer!

I think engagement and wedding pictures are so important because they capture the moments you are very happy. I didn’t say happiest, because you may have happier moments. But they are some of the happiest moments you will have and when you have “not so happy moments”, you can reflect on them.
You and Nate are doing a wonderful deed in addition to taking fabulous picures. Congrats to the happy couple.
