OH.MY.GOODNESS. Today has been the most gorgeous day!Β It’s funny though, at work our power went out for about an hour and we all just sat inside.Β I so wish we’d all gone to the park and played frisbee instead π
Lunch was the exact same thing as yesterday:
Leftover pasta from Sunday night and half of a turkey-pepperjack-bbq sandwich.Β YUM!
I don’t really have a lot to say today…guess that’s a good thing sometimes though, right?Β I will say though that my walk was amazing! The sun was shining, there was a light breeze, warm but not too hot, and the creek was roaring in the background.Β Such a beautiful day!
Random question of the evening (much more laid-back than yesterday evening’s!):Β Ocean,
Lake…
…which one’s your favorite and why? I love ’em all, but I have to go with ocean for me.Β I am not necessarily a water sports kind of gal, but there’s just something about the ocean and it’s mystery that gets me every time!Β I dream of one day living by the beach, smelling the salt air, and hearing the waves crash while I just take it all in π
1) Ocean 2) Lake 3) River
Honestly, rivers scare me a little bit. I was raised on the coast and will always be an ocean girl at heart!
I grew up going to the Red Sea and the Nile River every summer (I’m originally from Egypt), so I have to say I love the sea. The ocean is a close second. π And now, I live in Chicago by Lake Michigan, so I’m starting to appreciate the lake – probably only because it’s so vast and looks more like an ocean/sea.. haha. π
I definitely have to go for that mountain lake. I need treeeees!
LAKE! Definitely! Because with lakes usually comes the mountains, hiking, water sports, etc.
I just discovered your blog and love it!
What gorgeous pictures! I have to say ocean too. I’m such a beach girl. I would love to get married on a beach, and live by the ocean some day too. I love everything about it. The smell, the freshness, and the beauty.
Ocean, for SURE!!! I loooove it.
I just love water period, I’ve always been such a water baby. If I had to pick probably rivers, I was/am a competitive rower until I moved to Colorado. I love a quiet stretch of river first thing in the morning, flat water with maybe a barge or two going through. It’s one of my favorite places to be in the world
i love the smell of the ocean but the calm of a lake! if i got to live on one, i’d pick a lake, but i’d visit the ocean over a lake any day!
All of them are beautiful, but I would have to say the ocean because it is what I have lived closets to my whole life. But in respect to all of of them, it is amazing to know that my God created all of those beautiful things that people can’t get enough of, yet he also created me and you as well. π
Ocean, for sure. π
Ocean! it reminds me of sun, sand and holiday π
my vote is for the ocean as well! π and everything you wrote after was spot on too! π
lol oceannnnn!
whoopsy i answered the question on my last comment lol…..OCEAN!!!!
ocean, with lakes a close second!
Ocean!!!! I’m so drawn to them! I think maybe I was a mermaid in a past life π
Wow- great pics!
I love the ocean, but there is something about a red rocks sunset that is just so beautiful. It makes me think of the area history and all those rocks have seen.

gorgeous photos!
and nothing beats leftovers!
Oh great question!
Can I answer with a qualifier? I like ocean if it’s a WARM ocean. Because who doesn’t want to live on a warm beach, right?!
If it’s not warm all year than I’d choose lake. I think you can do more stuff in a lake than in a river regardless of the season.
OCEAN!!! Or lake. Then river. π
I’m a total amoeba-phobe when it comes to lakes and rivers. and a creature-phobe when it comes to sea water. I love looking at them all though

I love all three but I think the desert is the one that calls to me the most. It reminds me of childhood vacations where I’d explore the desert for hours. It’s peaceful and spiritual for me.
ha, our power was out too!
Definitely the ocean! π
