It’s finally trail season y’all!!!
In case you couldn’t tell by my borderline manic exclamation points, I’m pretty excited that Arkansas has decided to cool down enough to make time on the trails a little more bearable. It IS fall after all, you know?
If you’ve been following me for any amount you know that, at this current moment in time, I still have young kiddos at home for most waking hours. A few times a week, though, they are both in school and I have time to myself to do things that need to get done. This year I made a commitment to myself that I would use that time to do the things I know I have to do in order for me to be the best mom and business owner I can be. And for me? That means working out first, and then getting to work immediately after.
While I’ve never been one to shy away from the fact that I’m transitioning from gym or trail to coffee shop, now that the weather is finally cooler I’m not quite as sweaty of a mess – which means I actually have a chance to look put together when I open up my laptop to work! I know that sounds super strange, but for someone who hasn’t felt put together in the past 7 years (hashtag motherhood), having athletic wear that’s super cute is a big deal!
That said, girlfriend is in the market for some cute activewear that gives me some trail to coffee shop style, and Ellie has been a lifesaver in this department! The pants are seriously SO SOFT, the sweatshirt is super cozy and flattering, and the sports bra underneath is cute, but supportive (which is so hard to find in my opinion). I was a little nervous because my body type is fairly atypical, but it all fits like a dream! And I love that the cut-outs in the back of the sweatshirt and the sheer pieces of the leggings aren’t something I would normally pick out, but they look and feel great. The whole outfit is a win!
