Thankful

It’s all about the simple things really!

I’m thankful for Panera Bread and its inclusion of really sharp white Vermont Cheddar on my breakfast sandwich from Friday.

I’m thankful for happy hour menus where you can order things like mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage and polenta with gorgonzola and pesto cream for a measly $3.

I’m thankful for baby showers for beautiful friends who include foods like fresh sandwiches, veggies, pesto pasta salad, Israeli couscous, and chocolate cake.  I’m thankful for fun ideas for my own future shower like the baby diaper cake!

I’m thankful for date night with my husband at breweries where we never actually order a beer (I’m a beer snob and they did NOT have anything that I liked!) but get drunk on the bar food sampler.  OK, maybe not drunk…but we were pretty happy when we left!

But most of all I’m thankful for my husband, who was gone all week, coming home to me. I hate it when he’s gone!

Happy Sunday everyone!

The Panera breakfast sandwich looks REALLY good. I need to get it in my belly pronto! I’m going to see if they serve breakfast for lunch:)

I’ve had the Rock Bottom bar bites sampler and it was huge. Good food but tons of it.

How cute are these photos!? The mom-to-be is just glowing:) Awww.

Amen to Panera. I had the best soup/sandwich combo on Friday. Tasty…and now I’m hungry.

I do like Rock Bottom’s appetizer sampler. I have had a few of their beers, and they’re ok. But now I stick to the root beer. 🙂
