Start of a Busy Week

Hey guys!Β  Thanks so much for all of your sweet comments about over-commiting and how you deal with that anxiety! I’m still working through it, but I think y’all have made some great suggestions and offered some really awesome encouragement to me πŸ™‚

Lunch today was a little delayed (we didn’t have any lunch food and Nate wasn’t able to pick anything up til later), so I staved off the hunger with a 100-calorie popcorn:

And there might or might not have been some red vines thrown in the mix.Β  I can’t be sure either way πŸ˜‰

When lunch did happen it was from Panera Bread!Β  I love that place.Β  I got 1/2 of a Greek Salad:

And 1/2 of the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich:

I split the little piece of baguette with Nate, but I’ll be honest:Β  I wanted the whole thing πŸ™‚Β  There’s really nothing better than a piece of warm, fresh bread!

Tonight’s dinner is going to be Mexican Cornbread Pizza (as adapted from here) and whatever veg I can scrounge up before going to the store.Β  There will also be grocery shopping, laundry, gardening, and house-cleaning involved since tonight’s the only night that we can work on all that stuff at once!Β  Woohoo for another super-busy week…

Random question of the day:Β  Do you have straight, wavy, or curly hair?Β  How do you style it (air dry, hairdryer, curlers, straightener..?)Β  Color-treated or no? I have wavy/curly hair that has blond highlights thanks to the genius of my friend Rebecca.Β  Most of the time I wash it and sleep on it wet.Β  In the morning if it looks good, I go with it, and if it looks horrible, I pull it back.Β  I also straighten the front a lot so that it pulls back smoothly…otherwise it’s bad, bad news πŸ™‚

I’ve never been to Panera Bread. I’ll have to check it out. I’ve been to Au Bon Pain though, which is probably like Panera. My hair is naturally straight. My “real” color is brown with natural blonde highlights. In eight grade I experimented with the whole frosting thing (you know pull your hair painfully through the tiny holes in the cap), my sisters and I were bored one really late Friday night so we busted out my moms frosting kit and voila! πŸ˜‰ OMG….my mom flipped when she saw it the next morning and took me straight to the salon to get it back to my natural color. πŸ™ My hair is currently all blonde with honey and caramel high/lowlights. I blowdry and use the straightener to polish the look.

my hair is naturally wavy – but not pretty wavy – fluffy, weird, kinky wavy. πŸ™‚ i usually straighten it or curl it w/ a straightener. most of the time i wear it up though!

Oh yum! Both your Chipotle burrito and your Panera sandwich look delish.
I hate to say it, but I have straight hair which I pretty much don’t style. It is either down or up in a pony tail for running haha.

I have wavy hair, which I straightened to death for about six years (I literally thought that I had “straight hair that dried all wavy” well into high school… idiot.) Where I live now I cannot walk outside without bursting into sweat so it is a whole lot of ponytails. Right now, I am wearing pigtails at work. Luckily its Africa and I am the crazy white girl anyway so I can get away with having horrible hair every day… back in the States though, no more pigtails. πŸ™‚

Oh boyyyyyy hair is such a big issue in my life! lol I always wanted long hair but mine never seems to grow. I have naturally frizzy/wavy hair. If I ever sleep on it wet I look like I got ran over by a truck in the am. I’m so jealous of those girls that can go to sleep and have perfect hair. Sigh

speaking of your hair, you’re due for a trim and highlight, my friend. let’s get you on the books because i’m filling up quickly and with me going out of town a few times this summer, my saturdays will go extra fast!

And my hair is wavy-ish, but it has been hating this humidity lately!

I hate that your blog doesn’t pull up at my work; I feel so disconnected from you lately. πŸ˜‰

I have stick straight hair. I wash 3x a week and blowdry, just using my fingers, then throw some goop in and I’m ready to go in about 10 minutes! And if you’ve looked at my hair page, you know I color my hair. A lot.

I have straight black/brown/red hair, depending on the section you’re looking at and in which light :p I usually just wash it and blow-dry in the morning out of necessity, because that’s when I exercise. But I’m thinking about getting it cut, and when it’s shorter it will probably require more effort. Experience has taught me that short strands = poof.

I have naturally brown, curly hair. I don’t dye it, but I do blow dry and straighten the heck out of it. Despite being curly, it’s really soft and straightens so well that people always get really confused when I tell them I naturally have WILD hair!

I have curly hair and I usually just wear it curly, but lately I’ve been straightening it because the curls have been giving me issues…

I have straight hair. I just let it air dry. I’ve tried blowing it dry and trying to curl it, but #1. I’m challenged when it comes to working the curling iron, and #2. even if I am successful with curling anything, my hair doesn’t hold it. So I wear it au naturale. Occasionally I’ll get some highlights but that’s about it. It’s shoulder length right now.

    The Panera sandwich looks yummy!

My hair has definitely gotten a lot more wavy over the years but its short right now, and I haven’t colored it since this summer, so I’m pretty sure its back to the natural brownish color that mommy likes so much πŸ™‚

I have straight blonde hair, with blonder highlights. Apparently I do have a little wave in it and that is where baby M gets her curls. I never knew that until my hairdresser told me after he saw M’s curls.

    Panera = sooooooo good!

I can’t believe I used to spend an hour doing my hair/makeup every day in middle and high school. Now I feel like I’m lucky when it gets washed haha I air dry all the way. If it’s a special occasion, I’ll straighten it all out

My hair is all over the place right now.

I have naturally curly hair… but after I had Marin, the post pregnancy hormones took the curl away!!!! Can you believe it? So now I have straight hair with a slight wave to it. Weird… I know. My hair stylist was dumb founded.

I have wavy/curly hair as well and I straighten it EVERY day! During the summer I’ll leave it curly but I’m not crazy about it that way! Oh how I wish my hair would just air dry and look good!!!

Mine is naturally brown and wavy/curly depending on the humidity. It’s actually straight in CO since it’s so dry! Of course I always wanted straight hair until I had it. I miss it being long and (dyed) blonde, so that shall return soon.

LOVE Panera! I think I could live on bread..

I have naturally wavy yucky-brown-color (yes, that’s an actual color πŸ˜‰ ) but I have blonde highlights and I’ll either straighten it or curl it.

I have annoyingly curly hair. I shaved my head last summer for a cancer charity, so it’s in this weird growing-back stage that’s just awful! I’ve never found a consistent way to care for it and keep it looking the way I like, so I pretty much just bounce from long hair to short hair to natural hair to trying to straighten it. Ugh! It’s a pain! I think once it gets a bit longer, I’m going to do dreadlocks. If I love them, great! And if I hate them, I’ll just shave my head again. πŸ™‚

Your sandwich and salad look very good.

I have shoulder length wavy hair. I usually blow it out and use a straightener on it. Once a week I might curl it with a big curling iron for a change of pace.
