To me it only made sense that mixing Bailey’s and Guinness would be terrific. So we did…and then realized it’s more on the terrible side.

Live and learn, people, live and learn.

Yeah those two certainly create quite the curdled puddle. It happens when bailey’s is mixed with any carbonated drink unfortunately πŸ™ BUT, you can enjoy this combination via the Irish Car Bomb which was mentioned. I make small ones because I can’t drink a whole beer at once, but I pour some beer into a regular glass, then fill a shot glass with half bailey’s and half irish whiskey. Drop the shot glass into the glass of beer and drink it all at once. Kind of alcoholic-y in presentation, but it does taste awesome and is pretty acceptable for St Paddy’s day activities.

It looks like you poured chocolate syrup in your beer. My only thought is….don’t ruin a good beer, as you well know. πŸ™‚

Awww, well, the buttercream on the brownies makes up for everything else that can go wrong for the next month. πŸ™‚

It does sound like a good idea…until I thought of the curdling issue. It made for awesome pictures for sure though πŸ™‚

I think that’s close an Irish car bomb which are actually pretty tasty but you have to drink it FAST (meaning chug it) or it curdles. Curdled beer…can you say gross??

It will curdle in the Guinness, which I’m sure you found out. πŸ™‚ The two ARE good mixed, you just have a drink it car bomb style. (the amount of Guinness you can confidently chug, plus 1 shot Bailey’s. Drop the shot in and chug chug!) Ridiculous, but fun once a year. We’ll be celebrating tomorrow evening.

Yep the only way to do it is car bomb style! Then it tastes like a chocolate milkshake!

oo St. Brendan’s that stuff is so much better than Bailey’s in my opinion. I’m glad to see there’s another someone out there who has heard of it.
