The newest member of our household is now a white scooter that I like to call Mathilda.
Why Mathilda? Who knows…and I don’t even have a good explanation for adding the ‘H’ in there either. I just know it’s the only name for the scooter that I thought of when we got it.
Let it be known that the first time we took Mathilda out and about we went with our neighbor who rode on his Harley. And he drove us right past a Harley Davidson block party. We obviously felt very cool as we tooted the little horn (beep beep!) and waved. Obviously.
Also, let it be known that Nate hates the name Mathilda for the scooter, so he won’t recognize this post as being valid. But we do have a scooter. That he cannot deny!
Anyway, the point of all this? I just thought you guys should know – and I needed an outlet to put pictures up of my hubby on a scooter. Because if y’all don’t see them I just don’t know who will 🙂
Man, I’ve wanted a scooter for YEARS! It looks so awesome and fun and then I could ride it to work (when it’s not 112 out :-/ )! I’m super jealous and now I want to go buy one after work – like it’s pick up a pint of ice cream on the way home or something… 🙂
Scooters are a blast! I think the name Mathilda is a great name for the scooter too. You need to add an M sticker on it somewhere. lol Once he figures out how to do wheelies on the scooter he won’t feel odd in front of the Harley boys.
uhhhhhhhhh omg soo jealous!!!!!!!
I love it! And I also love that you have a post for it so we can see pictures of him on a scooter. LOL
Ha, too funny!! And Mathilda is a perfectly acceptable name for a scooter. Especially with the h. lol
How FUN! I love scooters!
you guys are too cute 🙂
Ohhh, I love it. Y’all are going to have so much fun with this new “member.”
Okay, that sounded inappropriate. Sorry.
I laughed at the thought of you scooting on past the Harley block party and tooting your horn. haha
I always name my cars Bessie. And I name my husband’s body pillow Sally. 🙂
haha, love these pics! I’ve always wished I lived somewhere that a scooter made sense, but unfortunately we’re always in places too rural for that.
We name our cars too! And by we I probably mean me. Because my husband always hates their names too. This is fantastic!
