You’re So Brave. My sweet friend Heather (what a great name, right…?!) writes about the brave choice to start working out of the home and leaving her sweet babies with a lovely nanny. This isn’t a working mom vs. stay-at-home-mom piece; it’s about making brave choices, whatever that means for your family. Love it.
All the comments on every recipe blog. OK I’ve only ever had a few comments like these EVER on my blog – for which I am thankful – but y’all, there’s so much truth here. I was in tears from laughing!
Baklava Pull-Apart Bread. Heather’s (another Heather? Really?) recipes are always spot-on, gorgeous and fun, but this one was SO cool to see!
Some prerequisites for being a boy mom. Don’t pay attention to the comments…just try to have a sense of humor since the post was clearly written that way. Is it weird that it made me love being a boy mom even more?
Also completely hilarious: Things You Can’t Say When You’re Not a Toddler. Welcome to my world – I wouldn’t trade it for anything! (ALSO, I apologize for the beginning).
First episode of the Influence Network podcast! I love Jessi – she’s a beautiful person, friend and mentor, and I never tire of hearing her story. I can’t wait to listen to more!
Hayley’s podcast is coming soon and I’m completely excited about that as well. When I listen to podcasts I want to leave encouraged, not bogged down with how cool and hip the guests seem to be. I don’t want to feel like I wasted my time. And I don’t want to feel like I just listened to what the world wants me to do rather than what God wants me to do. That being said, I’m really excited to be uplifted and encouraged with both of these podcasts!
This song has been on repeat for weeks now and I don’t even care. I walk around the house singing and dancing and Wes is always begging me to stop (I think he’s embarrassed for me…) but I can’t help it!
A reminder – I’m teaching my first Influence Network class on food blogging basics and would be super blessed if y’all came or shared it with people you know would be interested!
