Inspired Week

These gorgeous Old California photos. I got the link from Joy the Baker and completely fell in love!

Give me gratitude or give me debt. One of the most well-written posts about gratitude ever, a punch in the gut if you will, and in the best way possible. In a world of kitchen renovations and fancy DIY projects, I’d rather learn to be thankful. Just sayin’.

The new line of Fall prints from Naptime Diaries! I bought the Parenting Bundle yesterday and can’t wait to find a beautiful spot to hang them where I can see them every day. I think I need them infinitely more than our kids do/will…

I die every time Katie posts one her photo-an-hour posts. One day I want to be with it enough to at least try this!

If you’ve never heard of Humans of New York then you’re missing out immensely on my all-time favorite Instagram account. The next few weeks are actually dedicated to doing the same photos, but throughout the world, and I have already been moved to tears and immense amounts of prayer for our world just by the few photos taken this week. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE Y’ALL!

Last, but definitely not least, is a story that has moved me to my core. My friends Jessica and Clay met and lost their second little girl earlier this summer due to anencephaly, but Priscilla Joy’s legacy will live on in some incredible and moving ways far beyond her time here on earth. Another friend of ours is in the process of adopting a baby, and Jessica has donated 700+ ounces of her own breastmilk after the loss of her daughter to give this sweet little one the healthiest start possible. Y’all, I’m shaking and in tears through this story because honestly? It takes one mighty God to move in such huge ways. I look at my amazing friends and I don’t know if I could put my own sorrow aside long enough to help someone else, but Jessica did. And that is amazing to me. So encouraging!
