Can we all just agree that being a grown-up is kind of nuts? First of all I still can’t believe that people trust me with things like paying bills, owning cars, and having a job. Don’t even get me started on the fact that I still feel like I’m 18 years old, only with a husband, 2 kids, and a few extra pounds (and 14 more years to boot). Despite the fact that my parents did a great job raising me I hardly feel prepared to be an adult and do adult things.

Regardless of that, though, one thing that I’ve always looked forward to is hosting holidays at our house. While I have yet to rock something Pinterest-worthy, the reality is that just spending time with the ones I love and adore is what’s important. So while my baseboards haven’t been wiped clean since we moved in, the dog-fur bunnies in the corners might actually be alive at the point, and I do a deep clean only 4 hours before company comes in town? I look forward to making our home ready for loved ones so that we can all enjoy time together, creating memories.

This year I’m turning to Sam’s Club to create a really relaxed atmosphere in our home for the holidays. Because I have two boys (and because I’m, well, me) so having a crazy large package of paper towels is imperative. From messes to make-shift napkins, they kind of take care of almost any problem! I also wanted to go with some great skincare products because this time of year is terrible for my skin. I wanted to make sure to double up on the moisturizing so that I could count on looking holiday-ready all season. Plus I have plenty to share – you know, just in case anyone forgets theirs at home!

The great thing is that with Sam’s Everyday Essentials I was able to save a TON that I could use toward gifts and the angel from our angel tree. I love that I made our house ready for the holidays AND did so within our budget – that’s a huge win! And even more? I used the Club Pickup which was so easy. I ordered the items, paid for them online, showed up in the store and skipped the mile-long line. I was in and out in 10 minutes on a busy Sunday afternoon, which is more than I can say for my subsequent trips to other neighboring stores!

You too can make your house holiday-ready with these everyday essentials and club pickup! So cheers to the holidays!
