Frustration

Hey guys!  Is anyone else’s Monday just dddddrrrrraaaagggggggggggging by?  I know mine is!

Lunch today was a bag of these chips/crackers:

And this sandwich:

And 3 squares of this chocolate:

Which all came out looking like this (minus the chocolate because I ate it like the hungry animal I am):

This was my first time with the chips and I wasn’t super impressed.  It was nice to have something crunchy and salty, but I was really expecting more flavor out of them.  Probably won’t buy this kind (sweet potato) again, although I’d still be interested in the other ones!

I just finished my walk (no hurt knee!!!) and ate an unpictured apple pie Larabar.  I figure I eat them so much y’all probably know what they look like 😉  I’m excited about dinner tonight…I’m thinking turkey burgers and sweet potato fries and MAYBE salad.  YUM!

So today has just been a frustrating day.  Dealing with customers hasn’t been easy or fun, I’m tired, and just that combination alone left me wondering (yet again) what I want to do with my life.  I feel as though I should know at this point, but I still haven’t pin-pointed that ONE THING THAT I LOVE TO DO just yet.  I love a LOT of things:  eating, cooking, exercising, writing, traveling, puppies…the list goes on.  But as far as something I could DO with all/any of those things?  I’m drawing a blank.  Am I crazy?  Could be…but I doubt it’s all that severe 🙂

In light of this, I’d love to hear in your comments any ideas of things I could do with my life.  I’m not above asking, begging, pleading for help on this!  Also, if you don’t know what I should do (or don’t care), I was challenged by Rebecca today to list 5 things that I love about myself.  I would challenge you to do the same!

  1. I love my blue eyes that I got from my Daddy;
  2. I love my crooked nose that I got from my Mommy;
  3. I love that I am strong-willed AND gentle;
  4. I love my weird sense of humor;
  5. I love my strong and athletic legs!

    I’ve tried the FSTG chips before and wasn’t overly impressed either. I really wanted to like them too!

    Ahh the what to do with life question. I wish I had it figured out too. It’s tough because it often seems that the things we are passionate about don’t always lead to a fruitful living. I guess we just need to be creative!

    If you figure it out, let me know. 😉

    I think I told you about this link in my last letter (maybe?!), but there is a sermon series about work and goals, etc. It’s labeled “@ work”. Check it out. Might give you some insight into the all-demanding question, “What to do with my life?!” In general, it’s a great link. I am finishing the sermon series “Taking Responsibility for Your Life”. Good stuff. Love ya!

    I really want to try the sweet potato chips. The multigrain variety is super delicious. Chocolove is my fav. What is your current job???

    Hi Heather! Just found your blog and love it! I had the same feelings about the FSTG sweet potato chips. I am IN LOVE with their other flavors (The Works and Multigrain are AMAZING)–but the sweet potato just wasn’t sweet potato-y enough!
