Hey there! Y’all, if you didn’t see me say it a million times on Twitter, I am SO SO glad that you guys are so supportive of me…I never ever want to forget that you guys are the reason I do this, and the stat number isn’t even close to what matters. I love you all 🙂
Yesterday I started off the day with big hopes of a chocolate-peanut butter GM, but quickly was reminded that I don’t have an cocoa powder at the moment. SOOOOOOO I introduce to you the PLAIN PEANUT BUTTER GM:
It’s 1 cup milk, 1 frozen banana, 1 heaping tablespoon of peanut butter, and a ton of spinach. Done and done! I also had a famous Nate latte:
And that’s about when the stuff hit the fan. Yeah, you read that right…work just about sucked the life out of me yesterday. I was THISCLOSE to walking out, but I work with some amazingly supportive people who were super sweet and willing to help, my hubby included. He also brought me my favorite lunch from…
I never get tired of that! I love the sweet tomato bread the sandwich is on…but I do adore bread in general anyway. Finally the work day ended and we went home and decided to ride our bikes. It’s been raining for basically a solid week here in Colorado, but did we consider mud? NO WAY MAN! Well………we might’ve gotten stuck in it. Oops 🙂
Dinner was at Amy’s house, and was amazing as usual 🙂 We had chicken tacos:
I was in charge of dessert, so I used Julie’s Flourless Peanut Butter cookie recipe! I swear, it’s the easiest recipe in the world, takes almost no time, and tastes like heaven 🙂
I really can’t wait to just take a shower, get in bed, and sleep the night away, but first I just want to address my first day of not checking my stats on here. Y’all, checking those things is an addiction! I did end up looking at my numbers twice, but afterwards realized that it didn’t do anything to change the course of my day. I just felt really lucky to have so many beautiful and supportive women and was glad that what I said inspired some thinking from others as well.
I promise I’ll make my post a little more interesting tomorrow, but I am totally worn out, physically, emotionally, and mentally! What are your pre-bedtime rituals? I will either shower at night or wash my face, but I always ALWAYS have to brush my teeth first…just in case I get toothpaste on my face I want to be able to wash it off! Also, if I only wash my face and shower in the morning, I have to rinse my face 6 times before drying it off…when I was in high school I read some teen magazine that recommended that and I’ve done it ever since!
