First Day

Today me:

And this guy:

Are going to ride up this here lift:

And ski back down!  Woohoo for the first day of skiing!

The funny thing is that during my first year of skiing I never thought I’d be excited about it.  And that year was only 2 years ago.  It probably has something to do with the fact that my first run ever was a pretty difficult blue and I almost ran into a tree and died about 3 times.  Oh, and had to remove my skis and hike the last half in my ski boots.

To be continued…

HAPPY SATURDAY!!!

I am so jealous! I love snow skiing. My family went every year when I was growing up, and I haven’t been in a couple years. Have fun!

Gah, I don’t know how people can go on skilifts. My little height-fearing-self won’t go near one!

    Anyhoo, have fun skiing!!

haha just don’t look down and you should be fine! also, most lifts have a bar that goes across your waist…it makes it a little less scary 🙂

Have fun! My boyfriend is coming back from a week of skiing in Vail today! He said there’s a lot of snow this morning, hopefully he can fly out fine.

You give me hope. I was the worst one out of our beginner ski group. I also had to walk up a mountain in my boots to catch a ski lift up to get down the mountain! Maybe I’ll go and try again this year.

Ahhhh!! This pictures …make me want to just pack up and move. I miss the north. I used to live in Vermont and this reminds me a lot of that! Ahh! LOL.

And about the tree. when I was on the ski team in High School, I almost hit a deer skiing down the course!!
