Currently! @heathersdish #pumpkin #fall

I love this little thing that Ali does on her blog (and no, she isn’t the only one but I particularly love hers) so I thought I’d copy it. Plus, in case you haven’t noticed, there are some new things going on behind the scenes over here and I figure there’s no time like the present to introduce or re-introduce myself to you guys! Here’s the current state of moi:

Wishing that I could narrow down all the wants to the needs to use my birthday gift cards! I always get a little overwhelmed by possibilities – who else gets this way?!

Listening to the Here’s the Thing podcast whenever I can. I usually listen to sermons or Christian women’s podcasts, but I love Alec Baldwin’s Here’s the Thing – it’s so intriguing!

Sleeping on a new mattress! We actually first bought a new one from Brooklyn Bedding, which unfortunately didn’t mesh well with Nate’s back. We now have a new one from Layla and really love it so far! And even though the Brooklyn Bedding one didn’t work out (I actually really loved it) the return process was pretty easy and they were super friendly to work with.

Freezing big batches of chicken and duck stock, 2 cups at a time, to get ready for soup season. I like to make mine in a crockpot, and then I freeze it two cups at a time in resealable bags. Lay ’em flat to freeze and they’re ready to go when you need ’em!

Bookmarking FitnessBlender workouts and Evernote so that I can get my stuff in order. I’ve been a fan of FitnessBlender for a long time, and Evernote is creating a much more organized world for me. I use both of these sites a few times a day…at least!

Wearing the jeggings from Old Navy. It’s kind of embarrassing but holy cow they’re so comfy! And since I literally never stop moving throughout the day then it’s so nice to have cute pants that make all the movement so much easier.

Craving while I try to eat low-carb the truth is that I crave all the carbs, all the time. Although I did see this amazing recipe on Ina’s show yesterday morning and it looks like heaven!

Loving this cauliflower pizza crust and this sweet potato pizza crust. I make them about once a week! Always with BBQ chicken, mozzarella, sliced red onion and jalapeños!

Inviting y’all to share any of your favorite soup ideas with me! Not that I’m jumping into making soup for every meal yet…but I’m totally flirting with the idea!
