When I decided to start the Blended series I knew that I wanted to create a desire to drink more smoothies, but I also thought that it would be a great way to share the love of some of my favorite food bloggers as well. Since most food bloggers have at least one smoothie recipe I thought it was the perfect catalyst to share some of my favorite bloggers with y’all! Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday I’ll be sharing my new smoothie recipes, and Tuesdays and Thursdays will be dedicated to some of my favorites.
Today let’s start with Liz, shall we?! When it comes to gals who rock the food blogging world one of my favorites has GOT to be Liz from The Lemon Bowl. She has truly exception and exotic recipes coupled with a sweet spirit and spicy sense of humor. Her photos are gorgeous, as is her family. She’s inspiring beyond belief, and when I think of some of my favorite online gals Liz is right there at the top!
Her chocolate espresso protein smoothie is a great big winner, and as a clear smoothie advocate I would definitely recommend it! (Quick note: I put spinach in pretty much every smoothie I make, and this one is no exception. Still just as delicious!)
