A couple weeks ago the wonderful people at Chobani sent me their newest flavors to review and do a giveaway with you guys for…and since I’m basically obsessed with Greek yogurt I couldn’t really say no, you know?
The massive box arrived at work and I couldn’t wait to jump in. I mean, Apple Cinnamon, Passion Fruit and Blood Orange can’t be bad, you know?
If I’m being honest here I really love the 2% yogurt best because it’s SOOOOOO creamy and filling.
But my favorite flavor of the bunch, hands down, was the Blood Orange. Tangy and sweet, and perfect with a handful of blueberries and a sprinkling of granola.
YES PLEASE.
So whatcha think? Want to try these great flavors from Chobani for yourself? Leave a comment on this post telling me what your favorite yogurt flavor is, how you like to cook with yogurt, or maybe just a funny story. I could laugh a little these days 🙂 Contest will be open until midnight on Tuesday, March 6, and is open to all US residents!
**Chobani sent me these samples to try and review; all opinions are my own and I was not compensated (except in yogurt)!**

Angela says
Pineapple chobani, for the win! All the flavors are pretty tasty though 🙂

Yum, I love Greek yogurt! We now keep it in the house all.the.time although we mostly have plain. My husband likes it as a post-workout snack with honey and I love it by itself or using it in baking (I’m planning to make Smitten Kitchen’s double coconut muffins this week).

I’ve been without Greek yogurt at home for a few weeks now and I’ve been missing it (why must I be so forgetful when I get to the grocery store?). I have REALLY been wanting to try that blood orange flavor and haven’t seen it anywhere yet!
BillieJean says
The blood orange sounds so good! I have had them in the past and loved them, and currently my favorite flavor of yogurt is CHOCOLATE! I love buying the plain flavors and adding in dark cocoa powder and some almond or lemon extract and it tastes like I’m eating pudding without the guilt! 🙂

I just bought blood orange and apple cinnamon, but haven’t tried them yet. I was super excited to see that Chobani is on sale for $0.99/each this week at my grocery store!!
Leah says
My husband’s favorite flavor is also the blood orange!
My favorite use for Chobani though is to make NaCHO Cheese Sauce!
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
12 ounces plain 0% Chobani
8 ounces reduced fat shredded mexican cheese
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
Salt & pepper, to taste
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the flour, using a wire whisk to stir until smooth. Add the yogurt; stir until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients; stir constantly until cheese is completely melted and smooth.
It is really great on a pile of nachos!

I never win anything…haha…
I love Chobani! My husband picks on me about having to have the expensive yogurt. I have had the apple cinnomon and I love it….my favorite by far is the mango or black cherry.
I like to use the plain for overnight oats in a jar or in my spinach smoothes on sundays!!!
Funny story: I recently got married and I have a step daughter, I made her a bowl of cookie crisps like every Sunday(we go to church early so its quick meals) She looked at me as I sat down and said “you eat the weirdest food ever…who eats green ice cream!!”
She is a mess.

A pineapple a day keeps the blues away……love it!

Am I the only one who found the seeds in the passion fruit to be horrendous??? Good thing the new apple cin. Is so delish. Pineapple and mango are still fist fighting for number 1 in my book.
Heather says
no, you’re right…i didn’t love the seeds in the passion fruit, but loved the creaminess of it in spite of that!
Cindy says
I like all the Chobani yogurt flavors I’ve tried so far. But I agree with you about the seeds in the passion fruit. The pomegranate also has lots of seeds. The only plus is the seeds are smaller. But I don’t like crunchy seeds in my yogurt so I won’t buy either of these again.
Jenna says
I haven’t tried any of the flavored Chobani…but apple cinnamon looks real good. I usually just get the 0% plain and add in berries and granola. I love Chobani, I got it one day because it was a buck cheaper than Fage. After eating Chobani for a while, Fage started tasting like old milk to me…I can’t stand it now. Weird!
Jourdan says
Chobani’s Strawberry Banana is my absolute fav! But my second is Fage’s cherry, I hope Chobani comes out with that flavor soon!

Great giveaway, those flavors sound amazing! My favorite yogurt flavor is maple.
Urban Wife says
I love Chobani and my fav is honestly the plain. That way I can dress it up whichever way I want!
Semi-related story: At my first job out of college, I worked at a call center and could not leave for lunch due to a strict schedule. So I would bring a morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and sometimes dinner, too. Anyway, my snacks usually consisted of yogurt and one day, I had some seriously amazing yogurt (prob Chobani) packed away in a plastic bag in the common area fridge. Well…wouldn’t you know it that around 10am when I went to grab my yogurt I was SOOOO looking forward to (plus, I was hungry!) it was gone. G.O.N.E. with the wind, gone. I = pissed. No one ever admitted to the yogurt theft either. Ever since that day, I’ve wised up and pack my snacks/lunch in a black, non-see through cooler bag. 🙂
Sarah says
I really like the apple cinnamon Chobani flavor. “Everyone” said it tastes like apple pie- and it does!
Carolyn says
I love the plain chobani and have tried all the different new flavors and love all of them but I think the apple-cinn is my favorite! Hope that baby comes soon!
Rebekah says
I love the pineapple Chobani. Add a sprinkle of semi-sweet chocolate chips and I’m done. 🙂
I have a funny story and it actually has to do with Chobani. I take it every morning to work for a snack. Of course, I rave about how amazing it is. One of my co-workers mentioned how she had never had it before and since I talked so much about it, asked where she could buy it. The next day, I asked her if she had tried it. She hesitantly told me that she had, and she really didn’t like it. I was shocked, since I’ve never met anyone that didn’t like it. So later that morning, I was in the break room stirring it up, getting ready to eat, and she comes in and says “Oh, you’re supposed to stir it? I couldn’t figure out where the fruit was!” We both, of course, thought this was hilarious!! She tried it again and loved it. 🙂

As a kid I loved pina colada flavored yogurt – yum! I can’t find it easily anymore and I’d love to see it in a greek yogurt. I’ve been looking for the blood orange Chonani at my local grocery and can’t find it. I’d love to try it through the giveaway. 🙂

sarah r says
I love plain yogurt, unless its Chobani. Then my favorite is definitely pineapple. So good!
Emily says
My favorite yogurt flavor is probably the pineapple flavored yogurt I used to eat in the Dominican Republic. I definitely miss it. As far as a funny story…well, last week one of the kindergarteners at school told me she liked my earrings…and then asked if she could take them home. 🙂
Vicky says
I love vanilla with granola. I also love to make smoothies with pretty much all flavors!
JCHokie says

I gave Toby the blood orange one and he loved it! I didn’t even sneak a taste for myself because I figured I wouldn’t share.
AnnaZed says
I am addicted to Greek yogurt, so yes we just eat it. I also make curry one a week, and it’s always served with a dollop of yogurt on top. Also, we make a morning blender drink pretty much every day that has orange juice, Trader Joe’s protein powder, various fruits (often frozen ones that I cut and stock-pile) and … (wait for this it sounds odd but really works) … some cold cooked oatmeal and, of course, some yogurt.
Denise B says
Strawberry banana is my absolute favorite.
Olivia H. says
My favorite Greek yogurt is just the plain variety with some raisins and granola mixed in.
Also, I tried to think of a funny story, but I’m horrible at those things. I hope someone else succeeds in making you laugh today! 🙂
Melissa says
My favorite flavor is by far Chobani Raspberry (which I’m actually eating as I type). My family makes fun of me because I always have so much in the fridge, and I freely sub plain greek yogurt for sour cream – all the creamy tanginess with none of the guilt.
Pat says
passion fruit sounds right up my alley. I recently have been eating nightly smoothies in order to make my new years resolution. I would love to try these in order to jazz up my routine.
