29 weeks pregnant

HOW FAR ALONG ARE YOU? 29 weeks today! We’re in the third trimester, which is mind-blowing to me.

GENERALLY FEELING:  Really really really tired and really really really pregnant. Chasing a toddler around this time is definitely making pregnancy a lot harder than working an office job was the first time around. It’s just much more physically exhausting, not to mention emotionally challenging too. I wouldn’t trade it for the world, but it’s not something I ever thought about in the beginning!

SHOWING?  Yep! I am getting to the point where it feels like I couldn’t possibly get any bigger. I’m sure my body will prove otherwise though!

CRAVINGS? Like I said yesterday, salad. I can’t get enough of Greek food either – lots of garlic and citrus and fresh ingredients. I suppose there could be worse cravings though!

WEIGHT GAIN: Not tracking it, but my doctor has said I’m completely in the normal range and doing well. I’m trying to eat well and exercise every day, which is all I can really do.

FEARS: I don’t even know at this point honestly. I’m trying not to give in to fear, which sometimes means not giving light to it. I will say I’m starting to get a little overwhelmed at the thought of having two kiddos though. Life is about to change a LOT and it’s getting very real in good and scary ways. I’m not the first woman to go through it all though, and won’t be the last!

LOOKING FORWARD TO: I feel like I say this every time, but I just can’t wait to hold this little nugget. I can’t wait to see what he looks like, what he sounds like, and I can’t wait to see Wes with him either. As scary as becoming a mommy again is, I just can’t wait to meet him!

WHAT I’VE BEEN LOVING: I love all the punches and kicks – they never get old. I say a silent “thank you” to God every time I feel him moving around; he never has to stop as far as I’m concerned!

SLEEP: So so so good. I feel like all I do is sleep these days; I’ve been sleeping til Wes wakes up and then napping when he does, then going to bed early. Gotta eat it up while I can!

MATERNITY CLOTHES: Meh. Still not my favorite. Since I don’t have to have a whole new wardrobe for work this time around I really don’t care and have been living in black stretchy pants and sweatshirts most of the time. I just can’t justify the money for a few months’ worth of clothes since it’s not a necessity. To be honest there are times I just break down because I don’t feel gorgeous or super feminine, but it’s short-lived.

BOY OR GIRL? BOY! And we couldn’t be more excited :)
