Alright everyone, raise your hand if you loooooooooooooove tea? Because this Texas girl’s got two hands reaching for the sky right about now!
I don’t know about y’all, but iced tea in the summer is pretty much the next best thing to water, only probably better because, well, it tastes like iced tea. I love me a big glass of water, but it’s never gonna be tea, you know?
The other day I received these fabulous samples of Lipton’s new Tea & Honey collection to try and I have to say I’m a little spoiled now. Not only do I have iced tea back in my life, but it’s easy to make and tastes absolutely fabulous. PLUS I feel good about it not having all kinds of chemical sweeteners in it – it’s sweetened with honey!
SEE ALSO:
- It’s only 5 calories per 8 ounce serving;
- The tea is made from real tea leaves and real fruit flavors;
- AAAAAAAAAND to celebrate the product announcement, Lipton is giving away a limited number of Lipton Tea & Honey samples at www.liptonteaandhoney.com! I mean really, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t head on over there just to get a sampling of this deliciousness.
In all seriousness though it’s incredibly important to stay hydrated all the time, but especially in the summers when the heat is zapping everything. I for one am constantly monitoring my liquid intake since I’m a breastfeeding new mom who needs to keep her milk supply up, and so the more liquids the better! I’ve found the best thing to do for me to stay hydrated is to drink at least an 8 ounce glass of water every hour on the hour that I’m awake, although as I’ve started to drink more water that hourly amount is always increasing. It just feels good to hydrate constantly now! And I’ve found that not only is this good for me, it’s also increased the amount of water everyone in our house consumes too.

I love lemon water… but this looks like more fun and I’m glad to hear there are not artificial sweeteners!

I add frozen fruit when water isn’t just cutting it and this tea seems like it would really hit the spot!

Fresh herbs — nothing says flavour with a sprinkle of chopped herbs.
