Remember that one time when we went to Dallas for a wedding? And I showed you my version of Dallas through my iPhone?
Well the reason we were going was to see this beautiful couple get married:Jon has been one of Nate’s best friends since they were young…like really young. Like 2nd grade young. And Jenn is the beautiful woman that married him (duh…). It was a great time to visit family and friends…especially old friends like these hoodlums guys:
These are Nate’s best friends from growing up…and all I have to say is WOW. There are some stories in this crowd. Stories that are not blog-appropriate. Stories that made me laugh so hard I thought I was going to throw up.
The wedding was supposed to be outside overlooking one of the best golf courses in the area, but since the tornado sirens were resounding all afternoon they chose to have it inside.
Smart move I think 😉
The ceremony was fun and touching, the bride looked stunning, and I have to say that it was one of the best weddings we’ve been to.
The reception was incredible – by FAR the best we’ve ever been to! In lieu of a gift the family made an incredible donation to the Susan G Komen foundation:
Everything was lit by candles (probably one of my favorite things ever is candlelight):
I so wish I’d chosen peacock colors for our wedding 🙂
Seriously, it’s not even fair how pretty this couple is…
We weren’t the wedding photographers, but we just couldn’t help ourselves…especially when we were kind of given the blessing to take as many photos as we wanted 🙂 We are so blessed to have such fantastic friends!
Jon and Jenn, you guys are amazing and we are so thankful to have you in our lives!
