Happy Olympic Opening Ceremonies Night to all of you!  Hope y’all are enjoying it as much as I am 🙂

This afternoon I had a 100-calorie bag of popcorn with pepper sprinkled all over it (heck yes!  my fave is fajita seasoning though…) in a new bowl from work.  I love it when I find a new plate/bowl/glass that I’ve never seen before up there!
Lunch was a Flat Out wrap pizza with spinach, and provolone.  I also had turkey on the side (about 4 slices) and a big handful of carrots (which I later ate with 1 Tbsp of almond butter).  This filled me up a lot and I was full the rest of the afternoon!

I ended up getting to leave work early instead of taking a lunch, because I knew I’d have some big errands to run before getting home and settling down for the Olympic opening ceremonies.  Dinner was some leftover sweet potatoes with goat cheese a la Fitnessista.  The girl was right, it’s a great mix of flavors!

And for the rest of the evening I will be consuming this 4 oz ice cream while I watch world class athletes strut their stuff.  I figure I’ll be making up for it in the intense cleaning sesh that’s going to take place in a little over an hour…gotta fuel up right? 🙂

And in other news, Keira’s boyfriend Jasper (pictured below) will be staying with us this weekend.  This makes me happy because 1) he’s adorable, and 2) they will NEVER stop playing, which equals some tired puppies for me!

I’m very excited about the Colorado Blogger Meet-Up tomorrow!  I’m working on one of the things I’m bringing tonight (don’t worry guys, it’s nothing fancy) and then I just have to figure out what else I’m going to take.  I had a plan A that failed, so gotta work on a Plan B now!

Have you ever had a blogger meet-up in your area?  How did it go?  What did you learn?  Did you make some awesome new lifetime friends? I think I know all the answers already, but just want to hear everyone else’s experiences 🙂

Night y’all!

I have had several bloggie meet ups and they are always fun. I stay in close touch with a couple of the girls I have met and it is always fun when we are able to get together.

I’ve met a couple of bloggers and have had SUCH a blast! It’s so wonderful to connect with people who have similar interests! Of course, it’s funny because you feel like you have known each other forever from reading each other’s blogs!
