While I certainly don’t consider myself a parenting expert by any means, according to the rule of 10,000 hours I have now achieved my Ph.D in the field of parenting. Too bad that doesn’t really mean anything because kids are tricky little sweethearts that keep us all guessing 🙂
HOWEVER I do feel like I’ve been able to grasp fairly well a few key items that have worked well for my boys and their friends over the past couple of years. These items are tried and true; they are the things that my kids keep going back to after the excitement of new toys has worn off. These are also things that other kids who come over always want to play with, which I think also says something of how fun they are.
And you know what? I won’t lie to you guys – sometimes I like to play with them too!
This is a great little roundup for those of you who are looking for things to get your favorite toddler(s). They’re all fairly inexpensive for being high quality, and will allow for a lot of fun learning for years to come!
