You know when you look at a blogger’s header and you think you see all you need to know? Generally I would say that you can’t ever judge a book by its cover and never a blogger by their header, but Lindsey’s blog is exactly like her header: beautiful, clean, simple and quietly poetic.
When I first started reading The Kubly Girl I loved seeing Lindsey’s picks for registry essentials, postpartum essentials, and in general her list of things that she loves – her blog is SO pin-worthy for those reasons alone! But as I started reading more I couldn’t help but fall in love with her beautiful outlook on life and her willingness to own who she is. As a semi-introvert myself it can be taxing at times to try and keep up with those who just aren’t made that way, but Lindsey’s blog and her sweet heart have helped me see that it’s OK to be exactly who I was made to be. I’m not that girl who doesn’t know a stranger, I like the quiet and I would typically rather listen to talk most days. And that’s perfect!
Lindsey is also one of the contributors of the Influence Network, which I think we all know I love. She is always looking to be loving, practical, and God-driven in all she does – something that I admire greatly. She openly admits she doesn’t have it all figured out, but she is constantly living in community online with other women who encourage her in God’s truth. This online life can be very isolating at times, but knowing that there are friends out there like Lindsey make it fun and beautiful and lovely.
Lindsey, thank you for all you do – with your blog, with the Influence blog, and in the way that you live life online. You are wise and an encouragement beyond what I could truly express!
