Because from a lot of the emails and messages I’ve been getting lately, we all need to be reminded of this. This one life that we get – this one chance to live well, to love others well, to love ourselves well – y’all, we can’t waste it on comparison. Something amazing that I’m coming to realize is that while I always want to work hard and get better, I love myself where I am. It’s taken a long time to get to the point where I can say that, but I wouldn’t trade a moment of the journey to get here. My prayer today is that you love yourself and that you KNOW that you have a purpose, regardless of what everyone else is doing. Don’t be someone else; be YOU!
