I’ve talked about my sweet friend Kelley on here before, but y’all – when homegirl creates an incredible, refreshing, healthy smoothie recipes during the month of April? Well yeah, I had to include her amazing creation here!
First a note on Kelley though: she is every bit as awesome in person as she seems on her blog, and ever since I met her last summer I’ve read every single blog post she’s published. I know sometimes it’s easy to wonder if bloggers are really as cool as they seem, and it’s so refreshing to know that Kelley is 100% authentic. She’s honest, so funny, incredibly sweet, super smart and basically the kind of boy mom that I hope to be!
Not only that, but she shares my desire to get nutrients from real food over supplements when possible, and since I too am doomed to allergy and sinus infections every single year then this smoothie is going to be a staple ’round here! I love the tang of the lemon juice and the sweet earthiness of the strawberries – and the fact that I just FEEL healthy after drinking it. Winner winner smoothie…dinner? 🙂
