To the one who’s afraid of messing up, letting others down, letting yourself down or otherwise “messing up” – You are blessed.
To the one who deals with a hurtful past, the one you don’t ever want to share, the one you’re afraid will make you unlovable – You are loved.
To the one who’s felt the pain of the loss of a baby too soon, who’s felt the pain of losing someone she loves, who hides in her loneliness, in her sadness – You are not alone.
To the one who waits, soul weary and heart heavy, for the day when she’ll have her baby to hold – He is on your side.
To the one who thinks there’s no way she can overcome her past, who lives in fear over the stuff that’s happened – You have been redeemed.
To the one who has done terrible things, who has not treated others well, who is sorry but afraid to ask for grace – You have been forgiven.
To the one who feels lost in herself, lost in her marriage, lost in her kids – You have been found.
To the one who feels like she’ll never find love, who hurts to think about being alone – You are adored.
Ladies, we go through a lot. We deal with a lot. This stuff – it’s manifested in so many ways – and this stuff always finds a way to wedge itself between us and the One who wants more than anything to romance us. While I can’t identify with ALL of the stuff I listed above, you better believe that I understand more than half of it.
I don’t know why, but I felt it being put on my heart to write these things today. Y’all, I understand it doesn’t always feel like it, but God is ALWAYS faithful. We go through hurt and pain, suffering and loss, and it’s not fun. It’s not easy to understand, even when you just know that God is there. But I do know this, because I’ve seen it in my own life and because it’s truth: in all things God works for the good of those who love him (Romans 8:28).
I love you guys. I truly, truly do. And I hope that you guys feel welcome to let me know if/when/how I can ever pray for you specifically. There have been so many times I’ve wondered why I have this blog, this little voice online, but it’s moments like these that I understand. It’s to encourage and love others the best I can.
And I love you.

such beautiful sentiments Heather – God’s timing happens for a reason; we cant always judge him for not granting us our prayers in our time, his timing always has a purpose- that little motto has helped me tremendously !
