If you see signs out front like this, it must be a good sign.

If you follow me on Twitter, you might have seen this tweet yesterday…and I have to say that it still holds true.  Central Market is like the Disney World of food, and I wanted nothing more but to strap on my Mickey Mouse ears and stand in line 🙂

They have some of the most incredible options in fresh produce, organic, local, or otherwise, and they’re not afraid to show it off.

They have an insane amount of meats, poultry, and fish (although I didn’t photograph any of those since they’re not always photogenic).  There are coffees, spices, and teas galore…and, well, the aroma of that area is amazing.  That’s what I want my house to smell like.  Or my clothes.  Whatever.

They have fresh bread of all types at all times, a patisserie that makes you gain 10 lbs by walking by, an olive bar with about 20 different types to get, and a hot foods station that will cause you to drool all the way to the checkout.  Really.  You guys think I’m exaggerating, but I’m not.

Oh, and did I mention the gelato bar, salad bar, and soup bar?  No?  Well, let’s just say eat before you go because otherwise you will not make it out the door without hitting one of those up.

Not that I know from experience…or do I? 😉

And the wine selection?  Well, like I said…Central Market is my mothership 😉

Apart from family, Central Market is what I truly miss! We have loads of tortillas in our freezer because you can’t get them anywhere else as good! So super yummy!

Heather – I am OBSESSED with Central Market – it’s one of my favorite places in the world….OK, well in Texas anyway. 🙂 Billy and I shop at the one on Lovers Lane & Greenville all the time. And I love to go there for lunch.

Looks like a fabulous place! And I am just picturing you breaking out the camera for those up close, gorgeous shots in the middle of the store. I certainly get it, but it would be fun to see the looks on other peoples’ faces. LOL
