Have I ever mentioned that I love reading?

I do…it’s one of the things that brings me true joy in life…right up there with butter, bacon, cheese, and baking with butter, bacon, and cheese.

Oh, and sugar.  Don’t want to forget that one.

I’ve recently started to carve out time in my crazy hectic schedule to read every day just for fun and enjoyment, and I have to say that I have overcome my fear of new books and have really started to delve into some really fantastic ones.  A prime example is the newest addition to my collection, The Lost Girls.  I’m not very far into it but already am realizing that it’s a wonderful and very well-written story of self-discovery and LIFE!

Go read it.  Now.  I need to talk about it.

Love,

Heather

I started a book club because my schedule never allowed for reading. This club meets once a month and one lady hosts it and cooks dinner while the rest bring a bottle of wine. We talk about the book a total of 10 minutes and then the rest of the evening, the conversation turns to catching up. It gets me to read (such an important skill) and gives me time for me, outside of school and work. I highly recommend this to every woman!

I love reading, too. I have too many books on my “to read” list right now, actually. That’s great that you are carving out time to read everyday. “Me time” is important!

I read a ton, too. I made an early resolution to shut down my computer one hour before bed to catch up on some books. I’ll add that one to my list! Keep the recommendations coming!

I enjoy reading but seldom have time to. Right now I’m half way through The Girl Who Play with Fire by Steig Larsson and I’m really enjoying it.

I actually read this too! My best friend is friends with Jen of The Lost Girls so we were all waiting with baited breath for this to hit the shelves. It’s a great read! Right now I’m in the middle of World Without End by Ken Follett (sequel to The Pillars of the Earth, one of my favorite books of all time!!).

Sigh. I love reading. I could spend all day in a book store just browsing and reading. I’ll have to put this on my reading list over Christmas break. Thanks for the recommendation!
ps. Tell Nate he’s not the only one who doesn’t like pumpkin pie. I hate the texture, too!

I love reading, too, though I rarely read nonfiction. Right now I’m jumping on the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo bandwagon. So far it’s good!

I’m reading the new Francine Rivers book, “Her Mother’s Hope”…..LOVE IT!

of course, Francine could do no wrong in my eyes 🙂

Also on the nightstand (and yes, I read them ALL at once!): The Great Gatsby, A biography on Princess Diana, and the Poisonwood Bible….all are wonderful!!
