Hi there 🙂 How are y’all?
Today is shaping up to be a pretty decent day for me…I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the response from all of y’all on my new blog! I’m loving it! I also got in a good walk, the BKS (broken knee syndrome) didn’t act up until later, and I found out that on Thursday I’ll be getting some work done on my knee by my awesome friend Leeann (she’s a chiropractor)! Not too shabby, eh?
Mid-morning I snacked on these two (rather bumpy) clementines:
And a little later got hungry, so I assembled my lunch:
I had the rest of the un-frozen white bean soup I made the other day, a wheat thin with hummus and porkchop meat, the rest of the hummus with shredded carrots (which I didn’t feel like eating), and asparagus. I loved everything but the carrot mixture; I only ate half of that.
Then my sweet husband, Nate, got me a sugar-free nonfat latte from Vic’s! Hurray! 20 extra good-husband points for him 😉
The rest of the afternoon has just kind of flown by. I just got back from my walk and decided to not eat the PB shown here (I took the picture beforehand). The apple is in hand at the moment though!
Is anyone else craving some summertime right about now? I know I am…I just keep daydreaming about Boulder in the summer – sitting by the creek, going to the farmer’s markets, hiking and then grabbing a beer/marg on a patio, afternoon showers…ahhh. I think I’m about ready summer!
Tonight we’re headed to a friend’s house to start The Truth Project. Looks like it should be an interesting time of growth! Like I said, I have been so excited to see your response to this blog 🙂 You guys are really making my day!
What are some of your favorite summertime things?

It took me so long to find something to wear this morning because I’m SICK of my winter clothes. I need summer!

I’m definitely not looking forward to summer – it’s way too hot here! It’s actually not all that cold right now – not coat weather, at least.
Love the shiny new blog 🙂

I’m so jealous of you guys living in Colorado. Hubby and I would love to live there.
Living in Houston, my favorite summer time activities are staying in the A/C or going swimming. lol

Sweden is perfect in the summer time. It is green everywhere and the temperature is a mild 75 degrees. There are flowers and every one is outside riding their bike, walking or gardening. It is an amazing thing to experience.

Being cold and rainy all day here, I can’t WAIt for summer! I love the sun, of course, and the flip-flops, and the amazing variety of fresh foods and produce!

Living in CO, I’m obsessed with going to restaurants in the summer just so I can sit on the patio. Brunches, happy hours, anything! It’s so reliably nice out compared to the east coast! I could soo go for some of that right now. – Katie
