Start Somewhere: The End of a Series and What’s Next

I was thinking the other day about several different series of posts I’ve done on the blog, and y’all? I don’t think I’ve ever officially ended a series. They usually just kind of fall off the face of the blog as I drift into busy work and life seasons and forget the direction I was going with a particular subject. I won’t say it’s bad – because it’s how life has gone and I’m not about to revisit the past – but just an interesting observation.

I have some changes coming up in the next few months that I’ll keep y’all updated about, but in the meantime I thought I would officially end a series for the first time EVER on this blog! Guys, this is ground-breaking. And I’m so glad you could be part of it!

When I initially started this series I was in pursuit of losing baby weight and getting back on track with eating well after the initial first few months of A’s life. As you all know, having a baby is a major life change and I was purely in survival mode for a long time while we were adjusting to the initial change of having two kids. I wanted to lose weight, yes, but more than that I wanted to re-install some healthy habits in my life so that I could feel better, stronger, and have more energy too.

While I can’t say that everything is perfectly recalibrated, it is certainly better and not something that I feel warrants a series anymore. BUT the continual pursuit of healthy living and finding that balance is a lifelong journey. As the seasons ebb and flow, so will the balance between eating well and moving strong. It’s a journey that I hope to continue to share on here with you guys, but I will be incorporating it into the regularly scheduled programming if you will. There won’t be a set day that I blog about it anymore, but I will be sharing the day-to-day over on Instagram and the more notable parts here on this corner of the internet.

So to cap this all off? I’m feeling super strong thanks to Fitness Blender workouts – I will continue to use these as long as they continue to challenge me! And we are definitely still adopting healthier habits from our Whole30 journey – eating a lot less sugar, eating a lot more veggies, and eating carbs in moderation. It’s a journey, but one that we’re happy to continue on in the hopes of living out a healthy lifestyle for our boys.

Thanks so much for joining in on this series guys! And as always, please send questions whenever – I love hearing from you and promise to be transparent!
