Pre-Thanksgiving Feastage

I understand it’s not Thanksgiving yet…at least that’s the word on the street.  But last night we had a Thanksgiving feast to rival all others at Michael & Cherise‘s house with about, oh, 60 of our closest friends!

I can honestly say that going on 12 hours later I’m still full.  And that makes me feel old.  Sigh.

We had turkey,

Sweet potato casserole (with marshmallows!!!!!),

The best mac & cheese in the history of the planet,

Spiraled ham,

Fresh veggies (OK fine I didn’t actually have any…but they WERE there ;))

And these pinwheels, plus a TON of other food.  I went back and got seconds on a few things which was a baaaaaaaaaaaaad idea, and am now still fighting off the food coma so I can tackle the laundry that’s stacked up to my hip.

Why do the weekends have to end?!?!?!?!

Pre-Thanksgiving is the best idea! Your stomach definitely needs to prepare and what a better way than with a full T-giving meal a few days before. I think I need a test run this week. 😉

Yes, after those pictures I am officially ready to tackle Turkey Day!

I am SO excited this year, I have family coming into town and just cannot wait to have everyone together.

I love it when the lines between who are our friends and who are our family become blurry. Many of my friends are family to me. It is really cool that you celebrate with friends like that : )
