One of my best friends (who, coincidentally is celebrating her birthday today – happy birthday Stefanie!!!) brought back some incredible Mexican vanilla from her recent trip to Mazatlan.
To say this is an obsession is a bit of an understatement. My mind has gone into vanilla mind-suck mode where everything I see and make has vanilla added to it.
All I have to say is Mexican vanilla + lasagna [does not]= LOVE.
My sister brought me back some Mexican vanilla from a trip a few years ago, and since then I’ve begged everyone I know who goes down there to buy me some. It’s amazing! I could just sit and smell it for days.
I love just taking the lid off the vanilla and sniffing it. 🙂
