I might be a little obsessed with my dogs. Might be = I am DEFINITELY obsessed with my dogs. I am 100% that dog owner that thinks they’re dogs are the cutest, best, sweetest, funniest, most wonderful pups in the world.
Unless you have them on a leash. That’s a different story.
Bunker is the older of our two dogs and most definitely the least mature. He is a chocolate lab/Chesapeake Bay retriever mix that we adopted from the SPCA in the Northern Dallas area. We got him when he was 8 weeks old and weighed a mere 9 lbs. Now he’s a 100-lb hunk of love, slobber, and goofy noises. Bunker is our first baby, my baby boy, and one of the sweetest dogs in the entire world.
Now to Keira. We adopted Keira from the Boulder Humane Society a little over a year ago, and I have to say that she is nowhere near the scared, sad little puppy she was when we got her. She puts up with her brother not knowing how huge he is when they play. In fact, she LOVES Bunker and always wants to be near him.
Keira’s love languages are food and snuggles. She is adorable and has won her daddy’s heart.
It’s a wild ride sometimes but there’s not a thing about our little family I would change 🙂 Well, except maybe the dog fur that’s stuck in the corners of the staircase. But I have a solution for that…
I love seeing pics of your dogss…they look so happy. Thanks for being such animal lovers. We have two rescue dogs too and wouldn’t trade them for the world.
The way you describe your dogs makes me adore them too! Beautiful dogs, really. So shiny, playful and fast=) I have a dog too, which I love, and in general I like people who like dogs=)
Kind wishes,
Antonia
Your dogs are adorable! I’m totally that person too. I have a yellow lab who is 10 months old named Duke. I love him to death.
I took him to get his pictures taken last week and have a framed picture of him on my desk. Not strange at all right? 🙂
haha that last line about the dog hair made me laugh!! you are too funny!! 🙂
now I need a puppy in my life…stat!!
Gorgeous babies. They are both so well groomed and very attentive as if they have done this photo thing before! ha I can tell why you enjoy and love them so much. Dogs are man’s best friend and women’s too!!
Beautiful dogs! I don’t know what I would do without my bulldog, Winston. I’m one of those people too who thinks their dog is the best dog ever!
Adorable- Our Black Lab Rescue “Bosco” is also my first Baby Boy and I love him to death- I had to laugh on the the fur comment – I think Bosco travels everywhere with me via hair!!
OHsocute!!! Who’s wolf is that chasing your pup? haha
Heather…they are so sweet!! I’m trying to convince my hubby that we need a dog. Or at least that my six year old boy does! What little boy should grow up with no dog, right? 🙂
oh – I agree, they are beautiful!
They’re gorgeous! Nothing like the love you get from your dog(s). I wouldn’t trade all the dog hair and mud on the walls for anything!
I love my niece and nephew
Fantastic blog and great images of your fur kids. 🙂
I know what you mean about luvin’ your dogs and knowing they’re the “cutest, best, sweetest, funniest, most wonderful pups in the world” I even created a blog about them too!
They look like fun dogs! Ours is such a bum. Love her but she isn’t the most fun dog out there.
Sigh. Dogs are the best. 🙂
omg they are so cute! i could post about mine every day…and i definitely know what you mean about fur in the corners

Bunker is such a gorgeous dog. As is Keira, but dang Bunker has got a little something special bout him!
Great shots!
I’m gonna email oyu deets about my trip to Breckenridge next week! hopefully we will be able to get together!

Your dogs look adorable! Funny…I’ve got “Marley and Me” on right now….
They are so cute 🙂 We got Shiner from the pound when he was only 6 weeks. He was bread as a show dog but was born ‘different’ so he ended up in the pound. Such a sad story… but lucky us, we were able to rescue him 🙂
aw, that is a sad story! i always wonder what happened with our puppies, but i’m so thankful they’re ours 🙂
so cute! labs are the best!
Cute dogs! I have a golden retriever back home and he is a handful. We love him to death though 😉
