Because I have. I’m talking about The Pack Shack, which is basically where you get to party with your friends while you all work together to create meals for the hungry. Besides being a really fun experience, this organization supplies provision and opportunities for neighbors in need. It’s a fantastic organization and one that I’ve been talking about nonstop since my first experience at AWBU this year.
This amazing contest with Uncle Ben’s is a way that The Pack Shack could win money to help support their cause to the tune of 200,000 meals. BUT ALSO – YOU COULD TOTALLY WIN MONEY TOO. Think $15,000 kind of money. AND a $30,000 makeover for your school’s cafeteria. Not only does it help a fantastic cause, but you AND your community can win too. And that’s what I call worth it.
So I hope you guys enjoy the video above of me cooking with W. I’m sure a lot of moms out there will find some fun familiar scenarios in there 😉
love this! Don’t know how I missed it before!
That is the cutest video of y’all! It’s so fun to teach our kids how to cook, I think. Our son loves “helping” me when he sees me cooking or baking. Right now at his age it’s definitely hard for him to do a lot but even simple tasks like letting him throw food scraps away or stir food, make him super happy.
Heather this video is precious! With a little boy cooking in my belly I’m sitting here beaming and eager to cook with him like you were able to with W.
Heather, that’s a fantastic video! (You and W should win, hands down. 🙂 )
I’m totally with you on The Pack Shack. Such a great cause, and they make Feeding the Funnel fun while reminding us that we have neighbors in need — people right in our own back yards.
Rootin’ for you and W – and your school cafeteria – to win the prize!
