I just wanted to show up today with a little review for you guys…and I’m happy to say it’s a good one! As part of the FoodBuzz Tastemaker program, I was offered a sample of Kikkoman‘s new Kara-Age chicken coating to try out and give feedback on.
Basically kara-age means Japanese fried chicken (or any meat for that matter), and I couldn’t help but go for it. I love fried chicken (duh) and love Japanese food…what’s not to love?
The coating arrived in the mail and is super simple to use. Basically you cube your chicken and toss it in the bag the coating is in. Shake it around a bit and then fry for 2-3 minutes on each side. When you pull it out you have hot, delicious, slightly ginger-y, amazing chicken! I don’t know when this product will be released, but when it is I highly recommend you get it.
Now that I’ve said my piece, I’m off to eat more leftover fried chicken. Don’t judge me 🙂
Yum! That looks fantastic! Love it!
fried chicken is awesome, I need a good homemade recipe for this! Just came across your blog! Love it, your story with Nate is adorable, wish you guys the best!
How is the nutrition info?…wait, who am I?! Fried chicken – I’ll eat it 🙂
Ooh, looks good!!! It’s similar to tempura, no?
send those nuggets over! They look delicious! I love Asian food!
So far my favorite is HOMEMADE panda express chicken.
