I know I’m a little late to the game, but I love this post about The French Laundry. What a cool way to honor a great teacher, and y’all know I’m all over the foodie part of it!
This post about embracing the analog really spoke to me, especially this week. I’ve been working really hard to do just that, and rather than mindlessly fooling around on my iPhone or checking email I’ve been trying to read or play or laugh instead. Isn’t it crazy how much more fun life is when we live it?
I’m currently trying to convince Nate to do this for our retirement. Pray for us, y’all, pray for us.
I’m certainly not one to critique anyone’s parenting because we’re all so different and I really respect that. BUT. I do agree with pretty much everything in this entire post about the modern parenting crisis, and mainly because everything on there is something that I do struggle with or have in the past. A good read!
Nate is such a chocolate chip cookie purist, but I’m kind of dying to make these spicy rosemary chocolate chip cookies for myself. And such pretty pictures!
This is probably my favorite post for The Nester‘s book, mainly because I kind of want my own office (or living room, or the entire house) to look like this! And who doesn’t love Jen, amen?
True confession: I usually like nectarines more than peaches. I know, I know. But they’re just such a great texture and so sweet! This nectarine caprese salad is fueling that love, although I can’t wait to head north soon for some great peaches!
It was such an honor to be interviewed by Kim about taking this blog full-time!
