Hey guys!  How are y’all?!  Hope your Friday is treatin’ you right 🙂  It’s 60 whole degrees here in Colorado and I am just eating it up!  Why don’t I work outside again???

Lunch today was a pile of baby carrots (hurray for orange!)

And the most amazing bagel sandwich!  OK, maybe not the most amazing, but it’s pretty stinking good!  Whole wheat bagel, mustard, provolone, Boca burger:

Seriously, I kept craving that sandwich all afternoon!  I could probably live without the cheese, but everything else is totally necessary.  On my lunch break I went for a walk…a sloooooooow one, and my knee STILL was screaming at me.  It’s looking like it’s probably going to just take a lot of rest, and in regards to weight loss a lot of watching what I eat more carefully.  I’m still a little bitter, but I’m thankful that I even can walk at all!  I’m not sure if we’re going to go skiing tomorrow though.  Nate and I are going to family conference it tonight and decide then.

When I got back there was an announcement about cold beer in the fridge in the kitchen!  I’m tellin’ you, I love working in Boulder 🙂  However, there weren’t any dark beers, I did a Diet Coke (hey, it’s Friday!) and 1/4 of a cranberry bagel:

‘Twas a perfect snack 🙂  And I might or might not have had about 5 black pepper kettle chips that a co-worker had…

So, as I said before, we’re debating whether or not we’re going to go to Winter Park tomorrow.  I probably shouldn’t ski, but I think it would still be a lot of fun to out there.  We shall see!  Also, to kind of answer some of y’alls questions, my knee hurt when I walk both up- and down-hill, and the pain is mostly on the back side of it, right behind the kneecap, and on the front on the inside of my leg (so the adductor side).  NOT FUN.  I’m trying to stay positive about it though.  I mean, I can still walk, I can still lift, and I can most certainly do abdominal work.  As for swimming, that would be great, but I don’t really have access to a swimming pool 🙁  I think next week I might bring a bike up to work and see about riding on my lunch break.

Fun question:  If you only had one night to spend all the money you could ever imagine, what would you do? I would book trips to each country in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, Australia, and North and South America and book first class accomodations (prepaid, of course!) in each place.  I would also donate to hundreds of charities because I can imagine a LOT of money 🙂

I’d somehow run out and buy a house on a hugggeeeeee lot (is that possible in ONE DAY?) and then run to the animal shelters and adopt a minimum of 10 dogs. 🙂

Oh my gosh! Is it a cop-out if I just take your idea plus the restaurant reservations? That would be the ultimate dream come true. And maybe I’d adjust it a bit more so that I could live in a few countries for a while and not always feel like a nomad. Ah yes, there it is 😉

    P.S. Bagels are amazing!

I guess we are exactly the same because I would do the same thing with my money too!! I would travel and help out charities as much as possible! (Maybe buy a new pair of tennis shoes too, since I’ve had the same ones for a little over a year)

I would definitely book as many international trips as I possibly could! I feel like I’m a traveler at heart, but really haven’t done it much because of the wallet 🙁

Then I would give the rest to the orphanage my in-laws started in Namibia…they do really great work!

Wouldn’t that be a wonderful situation? I’d be boring and pay off all my families’ debts and plan amazing trips. And of course prepay for a few years worth of massages.

I’ve thought that question MANY times! And I always come up with the same as you! Vacations, charity, churches, schools… all after student loans, of course 🙂

Fun question!! One night to spend any amount of money! Okay the unselfish Kelly would give to charity! The selfish Kelly would book her ticket to Maui with hubs for round 2 of the honeymoon!
