Fall Style: Silver Boots

A little over a month ago we went on our very first trip – EVER – to Nashville, Tennessee. I’ll be honest and say that it was a REALLY cool city with a lot of fun things to do, but in the throws of morning (read: all day, nonstop) pregnancy sickness it was hard for me to get into the spirit of traveling somewhere new. Don’t get me wrong – we had a blast and made some incredible, beautiful memories together. And we definitely want to go back…but maybe next time not when I’m pregnant.

One of my favorite memories of the entire trip was our visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame. I’m a country music fan through-and-through, and to see the history of some of the artists that I’ve grown up listening to and the ones I hear today was really fun. Wes’ favorite part was the slide (he played on that thing for over 30 minutes), but I really loved seeing the original costumes that people wore. My oh my, clothes have changed in such a short time!

As we were leaving we were passing by the more modern artists, and there was an entire display dedicated to Miranda Lambert. I just love how her style stays true to her music, and as I went down the line I noticed some silver cowboy boots. Remember when she wore those while singing with Keith Urban during the 2013 CMA’s? Girlfriend rocked ’em!

Fall Style: Silver Boots

So when it comes to super trendy things I admittedly fall behind due to my mom-status stretchy pants and current pregnancy awkwardness. HOWEVER, after seeing Miranda’s boots and knowing that there is a really fun fall trend in silver boots I like to think that I could totally rock those bad boys! I’m thinking a swingy black dress or black leggings and a fun colorful kimono would be fitting and both right up my fashion alley. Maybe some skinny jeans and a slouchy sweater-y top. OK, DEFINITELY the skinny jeans and slouchy top – that’s my jam right there…right after my signature old college T-shirt and running shorts 🙂

What do you think? Would you rock the silver boots? And if so, how would you wear them? Country Outfitter has a really fun selection to choose from!

Keeping it honest: Country Outfitter sponsored this post, but all opinions & stories are my own!

I don’t think I could rock the silver boots, but I think that’s because I just bought my first pair of cowboy last week, and am still trying to figure out those! haha. I love cowboy boots though.

Oh gosh, I’m not going to be any help with this! I don’t really have any idea of how to style cowboy boots, but I trust you’ll find a way to rock them. 😉
