Coffee First

coffee first. then adult. #lifegoals @heathersdishAm I right y’all?

We had such a great weekend you guys. Time together, beautiful brisk Fall days, sunshine, pumpkins, all of it. And then A and I both caught a yucky cold and then suddenly it all went downhill. If there’s anything sadder than a sniffling, coughing, throat-clearing mom then it’s a sniffling, runny-nosed, watery-eyed little baby.

Thankfully he seems to be sleeping a lot (we’ll see how today goes) so I’m hoping his sweet little body is fighting the cold and it’ll subside for him soon. As for me, I’m wallowing in hot pots of coffee, almost too much water, and chocolate. I feel like since it’s dark chocolate then it’s a superfood and therefore basically medicine. And if I’m wrong, I’m going to blame it on the cold.

I’m raising a mug (or two or three…) today to feeling better and beating the junk this year. And many prayers that y’all don’t get it too!
